CHILI 
2 to 2 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1 med. onion
1 med. green pepper
15 oz. can tomato puree
1 env. French's Chili-O-Mix
2 cans Brooks chili beans
2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown meat, onion, and green pepper with salt and pepper. Pour off grease after browning. In large pan or crock pot, add tomato puree, chili mix, meat mixture, beans, and cut up tomatoes (juice optional). Simmer on very low heat (at least 45 minutes).

Note: The longer it cooks, the better!
