CHOCOLATE - CHIP DROP COOKIES 
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream:

1/2 c. butter

Add gradually and beat until creamy:

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar

Beat in:

1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Sift and stir in:

1 c. plus 2 tbsp. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Stir in:

1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Drop the batter from a teaspoon, well apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes. About 45 (2 inch) cookies.
