This was really great. I'm really watching my weight and trying to lose weight according to my doctor (either get my cholesterol down or we'll have to get you on a prescription). So I have been carrying a lunch for the first time in years. I leaned right away towards something like a pita pocket, as you can get healthy pitas cheaply and only 100 or less cals. This was about the 3rd recipe I've tried. They have all been good so far, but this one is my front runner right now. I didn't peel the apples so I could keep the fiber. I didn't have any green onions so I did without those, although next time I will have some. I used Miracle Whip Lite for the dressing. I also blended the Miracle Whip, salt, pepper, and lemon juice together as a separate step, then added to everything else.

Tuna is weird. Sizing all over the place. I could NOT find any form of tuna that was 6 1/8 oz. Plus they give info on the package, then info on serving size "drained", very confusing. I am sure when the writer of the recipe wrote this up they found 6 1/8 oz. at their store. At any rate, I ended up using one of these "packs" of tuna in water sold by "Chicken of the Sea", Light Tuna in water, 5 oz. pack, and worked fine. Thanks for putting this recipe up, my wife tried it one day as well and loved it, also good on crackers.

These companies are always making their products smaller -- hoping no-one will notice! I stopped buying Wise potato chips for precisely this reason. 8 oz. -> 6 oz. and now 5.5 oz. per bag and they want more money! Revolt!

I have noticed especially tuna is all over the place on the quantities. Not so much that they keep shrinking, but really oddball sizing on them.
