ROULADEN (German) 
Sandwich steaks (beef)

Spread steak with thin coat of mustard. Place on each steak: 1/4 stick raw carrot A little green onion

Roll (tucking in ends). Skewer with toothpicks and brown in heavy skillet in a small amount of oil. When brown, add gravy and simmer 1 1/2 hours. DO NOT SALT. Very tasty and different.
