ROULADEN 
2 lb. (1/4 inch) thick round steak (cut in 8 pieces)
8 smoky sausages
Salt and pepper
3 tbsp. oil
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 lg. can whole tomatoes
1/2 tsp. caraway seed
1 lg. can sauerkraut

Roll each piece of steak around a piece of sausage. Fasten with toothpicks. Brown in oil. Reduce heat; add onions, tomatoes and caraway seed. Simmer for 1 hour or more until roladen are tender. Add sauerkraut, simmer 20 minutes longer. Serve with noodles. 8 servings.
