1 lg. head cabbage 1 lg. onion 1 lb. butter Salt to taste Pepper 1/2 lb. wide noodles Grate cabbage and onion on large side of grater. Melt 1/4 pound butter in large skillet. Put in 1/4 of grated cabbage and onion, salt and pepper. Fry and stir until light brown in color on medium heat. Repeat with rest of ingredients. Cook noodles as directed on package. Drain and mix with cabbage. Serve as side dish with any meal. Keeps well in refrigerator or freezer. 10 to 15 servings. |
