APRICOT CHEESE DAINTIES 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 lb. shortening
1 lb. baker's cheese
4 c. flour

Mix all ingredients by hand. Refrigerate dough one hour. Roll thin and cut into squares. Fill with any fruit. (For apricots, put 12 oz. dried apricots in pan, just cover with water, cook with heaping tablespoon sugar for 30 minutes, let cool.) Place fruit in center of squares. Bring corners to center. Pinch top and corners. Bake in 375 degree oven 15-20 minutes until brown. Frost while hot with butter frosting. These freeze well.
