1 c. warm water 2 pkgs. yeast 3 tbsp. sugar Mix above ingredients. Add: 3/4 c. oil 2 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. baking soda Mix and add 5 cups self-rising flour. Cut with spoon. Drop in flour and roll into shape with hands as many rolls as your family will eat for a meal, place in 450 degree oven. (It is not necessary to let rise, but can if time allows.) Place remaining dough in covered bowl in refrigerator and make when desired. (Will last in refrigerator approximately 7 days.) |
