HOT MUSHROOM HORS D'OEUVRE 
8 oz. chopped mushrooms
1 tsp. chopped onion
1/2 pt. sour cream
Bread (crusts removed)
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. lemon juice
Salt and pepper

Saute mushrooms in butter; add onions. Cook until onion is tender. Remove from heat, add remaining ingredients except bread. Butter 1 side of bread. Make sandwiches with mushroom mixture, placing buttered sides of bread out. Cut each into 4 pieces. Place on cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Can be made ahead of time and reheated. Serves 8 to 10.
