BEEF & BROCCOLI STIR FRY 
1/2 lb. flank steak, in strips
1 tbsp. sherry, optional
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. grated ginger
1 tbsp. salad oil
4 c. broccoli florets
2 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped mushrooms
1 c. beef broth
1 tbsp. cornstarch mixed with a little water

In a small mixing bowl, combine steak, sherry, soy sauce, sugar and ginger. Stir to coat well. Let stand 30 minutes.

Quickly stir fry broccoli, onion and mushrooms in oil over high heat for 2-3 minutes. Remove to warm bowl. Add steak to oil and stir until cooked, about 2- 3 minutes; then stir in vegetables. Add broth and cornstarch; stir until thickened. Serve over rice.
