COMPANY CASSEROLE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. med. noodles
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 (12 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. creamed cottage cheese
1 c. sour cream
3/4 c. grated, sharp American cheese

Cook noodles until tender in boiling salted water and drain. Saute onions in butter; add meat and cook and stir until meat has lost red color. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream and noodles. Alternate layers of noodles and meat mixtures in 2 quart casserole. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
