CHERRY SQUARES 
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 can cherry pie filling

Mix butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla with mixer, then add flour and baking powder. Mix again. Put 1/2 of dough in 9 x 13 inch pan, then add cherry pie filling on dough, then take a teaspoon and drop remaining mixture onto pie filling. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
