GRANDMA BRUNS BROWN BREAD 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
3/4 c. shortening
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. molasses
1 1/2 c. buttermilk

Mix dry ingredients together. Cream eggs and shortening and milk, slowly adding dry mixture. Mix well. Bake in 2 bread pans half full. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
