CHEESY BEEF AND NOODLE BAKE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. medium noodles
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. creamed cottage cheese
1 c. sour cream
1 sm. chopped onion
1 c. sharp cheddar cheese

Cook noodles and drain. Melt butter; cook onions and brown meat. Add salt, garlic salt, pepper and tomato sauce; simmer 5 minutes. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, noodles in a medium bowl. Mix thoroughly.

In a 2-quart casserole alternate layers of noodles mixture and meat mixture ending with meat. Top with shredded cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned. Serves 6-8 people.
