BAKED SWEET ONIONS 
6 vidalia or sweet onions
6 tbsp. brown sugar
6 tsp. butter
3 tsp. cumin
6 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. white wine
1/2 c. chicken broth

Peel onions and cut off top and bottom. In each onion core out hole 1/2 inch wide and 1 1/2 inch deep. Put in each onion hole 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 teaspoon butter, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.

Chop up cored pieces and sprinkle over onions. Pour wine and broth over onions. Bake at 450 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until blackened. Baste often.
