PASTA AL PESTO 
4 c. basil leaves, chopped
1/2 c. olive oil
2 cloves garlic
6 sprigs parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c. pine nuts, walnuts, or almonds
1/2 c. fresh grated Parmesan or Romano cheese

Place basil in blender; add oil, garlic, parsley, (salt and pepper optional) and nuts. Blend until all is chopped very fine. Remove from blender and add the cheese. Toss a little with hot spaghetti noodles.
