1 c. butter flavor Crisco
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
1 c. sour cream
2 eggs
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. chocolate chips or M & M's

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix Crisco, sugar, vanilla or almond extract, sour cream and eggs together in large bowl until smooth. Combine flour and soda and add gradually to other mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.

Chill dough for an hour or more. Drop from rounded teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
