TACO SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1 tomato
1 lb. ground meat
1 (8 oz.) bottle Catalina French dressing
1 sm. jar picante sauce (4 oz.)
1 or 2 c. grated American cheese
1 med. size bag Doritos or Tostitos

Fry ground meat; drain grease and set aside. Do not refrigerate. Break lettuce, cut tomatoes and add meat already cooked. Break a bag of chips. Add cheese and then pour dressing and picante sauce. Do not mix until ready to serve, then toss well.
