"SCANDINAVIAN" SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
3 tbsp. butter
2 lg. white onions
4 lbs. lean hamburger
3 tbsp. Italian seasoning
2 tsp. salt plus 2 tsp. onion salt
Approximately 2 qts. cooked tomatoes
1 lg. can tomato sauce
1 lg. can tomato paste

Melt butter in large heavy pot. Soften onions (chopped) in butter. Brown hamburger in this mixture. Throw in seasonings, mix and simmer 20 minutes. Mix in the rest of the ingredients and simmer forever, stirring and adding water as necessary. The longer you simmer, the better it gets. Serve to put on top of pasta. Parmesan freezes well. (This was developed for bland palates. I cook by throwing in handfuls of stuff, so the measurements are approximate. Do it to taste.)
