CHOCOLATE FUDGE SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour and sugar together. Melt butter, add cocoa and water. Bring just to boil. Add cocoa mixture to dry ingredients and mix well. Add buttermilk, soda, eggs and vanilla. Beat. Pour into 11 x 17 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Make frosting while cake cools. Frost after cake is out of oven for one minute.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa (heaping)
1/3 c. milk
1 box or 3 1/2 c. powdered sugar, sifted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. walnuts

Melt butter and combine with cocoa in saucepan. Add milk. Heat but do not boil. Add powdered sugar to hot mixture. Add vanilla and chopped nuts. Mix. Frost cake while still very hot.
