AUDREY BAKK'S OATMEAL BREAD 
2 c. boiling water
1 c. rolled oats or rolled wheat
2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. dark molasses
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
5-6 c. flour

Pour boiling water over oats, add shortening, cool and add molasses and brown sugar and salt. Add yeast. Add flour and knead. Rise in warm place until double. Form into loaves and put in pans. Let rise and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Makes 3 loaves.
