CHILI VERDE 
1 lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped fine
2 tomatoes, chopped
3 banana peppers, skinned & chopped
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. water

Brown hamburger in skillet. Add onion, tomatoes and peppers; cook until tender. When tender, add flour. Simmer until it slightly thickens. Add water, stirring slowly. Boil 5 minutes. This is used as a sauce. Can be stored in a covered container in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
