BERTHA'S BERRY PIE 
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. corn starch
1 c. mashed berries
1 tsp. lemon juice
Berries to fill shell
Baked pie shell
Powdered sugar

Cook until clear 1 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons cornstarch and 1 cup mashed berries. Add 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Cool.

Fill baked pie shell with fresh berries. Pie shell should be covered with powdered sugar.

Pour the cooked glaze over fresh berries. Top with whipped cream.

Good with strawberries.
