GRANDMA'S BUTTERSCOTCH PIE 
1 baked 9 inch pie shell
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. flour
Pinch of salt
1 1/4 c. milk
2 egg yolks (reserve whites for meringue)
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat egg yolks into milk. Heat butter in heavy skillet, add brown sugar and brown slightly. Sprinkle in flour and stir until blended. Slowly add milk mixture, stirring constantly. Heat until thickened and boiling. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Cool and pour into pie shell. Top with meringue.
