STRAWBERRY PIE 
2 (9 inch) deep pie shells
2 qt. strawberries
2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cornstarch
2 tbsp. white Karo syrup
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 c. cold water
1 sm. box strawberry Jello
1/4 tsp. red food color
9 oz. Cool Whip

Bake and cool pie shells. Mix and boil sugar, cornstarch, syrup, vanilla and water. Remove from heat and add Jello and food color. Cool mixture. Slice strawberries and place in pie shells, cover with cooled mixture. Top with Cool Whip.
