OLD FASHIONED EGG-NOG 
10 eggs
1 qt. milk
1 pt. cream
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
Nutmeg
Ice cream

Separate eggs. Beat yolks thoroughly; add sugar. Beat until emulsified, not gritty. Combine milk, cream and vanilla and add to yolk and sugar mixture. Whip egg whites until they peak and fold into mixture. Chill. Just before serving, spoon chunks of ice cream into nog. Sprinkle nutmeg on top. If egg nog becomes too rich from melting ice cream, add more milk. Makes 22 half cup servings.
