White potatoes, peeled and chopped Onion, chopped Black pepper Salt Fried meat grease (bacon) Take approximately 8 medium size white potatoes, peel and chop into bite size pieces. Place in 1/4 cup fried grease in case iron skillet over medium heat. Add, into hot skillet, rest of ingredients, approximately 1 1/2 chopped small onions. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Cover with lid and stir approximately every 2-3 minutes. Cook for approximately 1/2 hour or until potatoes are done and lightly browned. |
