INDIAN PUDDING 
1/2 c. Indian cornmeal
1 c. water
1 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1 egg, well beaten
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. light molasses
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix in a saucepan, cornmeal, water, salt and milk. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Boil 10 minutes. Mix and blend the other ingredients into the first mixture. Pour into buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Bake 1/2 hour. Stir 1 cup milk into dish. Bake 1 1/2 hours. Temperature should be 325 degrees.
