CRANBERRY SALAD 
1 lb. cranberries
2 c. sugar
1 c. red grapes, seedless (opt.)
1 c. mini marshmallows
1 pt. whip cream
1/4 c. fine chopped nuts (opt.)

Wash and drain cranberries, put through chopper. Add 2 cups sugar to berries. Let stand 4 hours. Drain off juice after the 4 hours. Let stand overnight. Next day mix in grapes, marshmallows. Fold in 1 pint of whipped whip cream. This may also be used as a spread and served with nut bread or rolls. I leave out the grapes when I do this. Juice can be used in Jello molded salad.
