DIVINITY 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
2 egg whites
4 lg. marshmallows
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Boil sugar, water, and syrup. Do not stir after mixture comes to a boil. Cook until mixture reaches 364 degrees or until a small amount dropped in cool water is brittle and hard. Add hot mixture slowly to stiffly beaten egg whites, while beating with mixer. Add nuts and vanilla and drop on waxed paper. Top with piece of candied cherry.
