CLASSIC HAMBURGER CASSEROLE 
2 c. hot mashed potato
1 lb. ground beef
1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans, thawed & drained
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (2.8 oz.) can Durkee French fried onions
1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In medium skillet, brown ground beef; drain. Stir in green beans, soup, water and seasonings; pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole.

In medium bowl, combine mashed potatoes and 1/2 can French fried onions. Spoon potato mixture in mounds around edge of casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until heated through. Top potatoes with cheese and remaining onions; bake, uncovered, 5 minutes or until onions are golden brown. Yield: Makes 4-6 servings.
