17-18 c. rolled oats 2 c. wheat germ - raw 1 c. sesame seeds - raw 2 c. shredded coconut (unsweetened) 1-1 1/2 c. sunflower seeds - raw 2 tbsp. cinnamon - ground 1/2 tsp. nutmeg - ground 1/2 tsp. cloves - ground 1 1/2 c. honey 1-1 1/2 c. water 2-3 tbsp. vanilla 2/3 c. peanut oil 2 c. sliced almonds or chopped pecans or chopped cashews or combination of all above 1 c. raisins 1/2 c. chopped dried figs 1/2 c. chopped dates 1/4 c. dried natural pineapple Combine first 8 ingredients, mix well. Combine next 4 ingredients (use hot water or heat honey so it will mix into dry ingredients easier). Pour liquid mixture over dry mixture and mix until all dry ingredients are moist. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes. Total time. Check and stir every 10 minutes, until desired brownness. Cool, then add some or all of the last ingredients. This works best with LARGE roaster in oven. |
