ALMOND PUFF PASTRY 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. water

Cut flour and butter together and sprinkle water over mixture, stir with fork, roll into a ball. Divide mixture in half and pat into two strips about 3" by 12" long on cookie sheet. 1 c. water 1 tsp. almond flavoring 1 c. flour 2 eggs Chopped nuts

In kettle, heat butter and water to boiling and remove from heat and add almond and flour. Stir over low heat until mixture becomes a ball, remove from heat and beat in eggs one at a time until smooth, spread on the two strips covering them completely.

Bake 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Frost with sugar glaze.
