DANISH KRINGLE 
4 c. flour
1 c. butter
5 tbsp sugar
3 tsp salt
1 c. milk
2 pkg dry yeast
2 or 3 eggs

Mix flour, sugar and lard like pie crust. Add eggs gradually, add milk. Let rise until double in size then roll out like pie crust.

Filling: Spread cooled, drained and mashed prunes on dough. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, 1/8 Inch thick.

Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes. May use applesauce instead of prunes.
