1 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo
1 c. peanut butter
6 c. Special K cereal
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. butterscotch chips

Bring sugar and Karo to a boil. Take off heat. Stir in peanut butter. Pour mixture over Special K's, stir. Butter a cake pan. Pour mixture into cake pan, pat down and let cool.

Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in double boiler or microwave. Spread over Special K mixture. Let set until chip mixture becomes firm. Cut bars.
