SHOO FLY CAKE 
4 c. flour
2 c. dark brown sugar
3/4 c. Crisco
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. Brer Rabbit molasses, gold orange label
2 c. hot water, with 1 tsp. baking soda

Mix first 4 ingredients together and take out 1 cup and set aside. Then add remaining ingredients. Mix and pour in long cake pan. Sprinkle the one cup over top of cake and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
