PEAR RELISH 
24 lg. pears
4 c. vinegar
4 c. sugar
3 green bell peppers
3 red bell peppers
7 lg. onions
2 tbsp. celery seed
4 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. whole spices

Peel pears; grind or grate. Grind pepper and onions. Mix all ingredients together. Cook a little while, then add cornstarch. Cook 35 to 45 minutes, after it begins to boil, put in hot jars and seal.
