1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 bag (14 oz.) caramel candy
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix cake mix according to directions. Put 1/2 of cake batter in greased 9 x 13 pan and bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. melt caramel candy, butter, and milk and pour over baked cake. Spread chocolate chips over caramel mixture. Spread nuts over chocolate chips. Spread remaining batter over nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
