FAMOUS AMOS COOKIES | |
2 c. butter, softened 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. water 2 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate 3/4 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs 1 tsp. baking soda 2 c. raisins Beat softened butter, brown and white sugar, vanilla, water and salt until thoroughly creamed and smooth. By hand stir in flour, baking soda and salt until well mixed. Stir in raisins and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Allow 1-1 1/2 inches between each cookie. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned. Makes 10-12 dozen. |
