Sheet Cake & Frosting - Recipe

SHEET CAKE & FROSTING

Sift:

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar

Boil:

1 stick butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa

Mix in:

2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix in above. Bake in cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

FROSTING:

Boil:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Add:

3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. nuts

Mix and spread while cake and frosting are still hot.
