FRUIT FILLED SPICE BARS 
1 (14 1/2 oz.) pkg. gingerbread mix
1 c. applesauce
2 tbsp. water
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. diced dried apricots
1/2 c. diced prunes
1 (14 oz.) pkg. creamy white frosting mix
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Combine gingerbread mix, applesauce and water. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Fold in fruits. Spread in greased and floured 10 x 15 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Cool. Prepare frosting mix as package directs, substituting lemon juice for half of water. Frost cake. Allow to set. Cut in bars. Makes 32 bars.
