FRUIT BARS 
3/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 can cherry pie filling

Cream the butter and brown sugar. Add the flour, oatmeal, salt and soda. Stir until crumbly. Put 1/2 the crumble mixture in a 13 x 9 pan, then pour the pie filling. Then cover with the rest of the crumble mixture.

Bake at 350°F until golden brown.
