SWEET & SOUR RIBS 
6 lbs. country style ribs
Salt & pepper
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. oil
1 lg. chopped onion
2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. light molasses
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. garlic powder

Trim fat, put in kettle. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add water until covered. Cook 1 hour. Drain water. In skillet, heat butter and oil. Saute onion until golden. Stir in ketchup, molasses, lemon juice and garlic powder. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Pour sauce over ribs. Refrigerate overnight. Cook slowly 30 minutes.
