TIME - TO - SPARE RIBS | |
1 lg. (14x20) cooking bag 1/4 c. flour 1 1/2 c. barbecue sauce (Lawry's sweet & sour) 1/2 c. onion, chopped 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped 3 lb. pork spareribs, fat trimmed Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Shake flour in bag. Place in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Roll down top of bag. Add barbecue sauce, onion and pepper. Squeeze bag gently to blend. Cut up ribs, place in bag. Turn bag to coat. Arrange ribs in even layer. Unroll bag and close with tie. Make 6 half inch slits in top. Cook 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Note: Sauce will cause inside of bag to darken in color. This is a normal reaction. |
