FRIED MUSHROOMS FLORENCE (ITALY)

24 sm. solid mushrooms
1/2 c. flour
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. olive oil

Wash mushrooms well and dry. Roll in flour. Add milk and salt to egg and beat a little. Dip mushroom into egg mixture and fry in medium hot olive oil until light brown in color. Drain on paper and serve hot.
