COFFEE NUT BARS 
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter butter, soft
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. strong coffee
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Let set. Another bowl cream sugar, add egg and vanilla until fluffy. Alternate. Stir in flour mixture and coffee. Add nuts. Put in greased square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool, then ice.

ICING:

1 c. confectioners' sugar
4 tsp. strong coffee
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix until smooth. Spread over cool bars. Cut into 32 bars.
