VANILLA WAFER CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers
1/2 c. milk
1 (7 oz.) flaked coconut

Cream butter, add sugar, beat until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add crushed vanilla wafers alternately with milk. Add coconut and pecans. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Cool and turn on rack.
