1 (14 oz.) pkg. regular chocolate pudding mix
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. salted peanuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine pudding mix, sugar, milk and butter in heavy saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils. Reduce heat. Cook and stir 3 minutes. Remove from heat, quickly stir in nuts and vanilla. Beat until candy thickens and begins to lose its gloss. Drop from teaspoon into clusters on waxed paper. Makes 2 dozen.
