PUFFY FRENCH TOAST | |
1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk 1 egg, slightly beaten 4 slices bread Sift dry ingredients; add milk and egg; beat well. Into this mixture dip bread, one slice at a time and fry in hot oil and drain. Serve hot with powdered sugar and syrup. Serves 4. |
