SPARERIBS, SAUERKRAUT AND
POTATOES
 
2 1/2 lbs. spareribs
1 tbsp. oil
Salt and pepper
1 (No. 2) can (2 1/2 c.) sauerkraut
2 tbsp. brown sugar
4 potatoes, med., whole

Brown spareribs in hot oil in pressure pan. Add salt and pepper. Put sauerkraut in bottom of pan and sprinkle with brown sugar. Place ribs and potatoes over kraut. Add water. Cover, set control at 10 and cook 20 minutes after control jiggles. Reduce pressure normally for 5 minutes. Then place pan under faucet until pressure is gone.
